basic defense formation for DBs?
ok im a freshmen trying out for conerback im new to the whole highschool football so can anyone tell me where are the DBs suppose to go when the play is like cover 3, cover 2, middle back switch and everything else if you can please my coach already told me but i kinda forgot
cover 2 as conerback your responsible for the flats and stopping short routes and the run. the safeties are responsible for the deep half’s and are not suppose to let anyone behind them.
cover one is considered man to man.
and cover three you should have 1/3 of the Field
