Should I play high school football?
i am a going to be a senior and i play football i am starting mlb but i am really starting to get bored, my coaches want me to play tight end on offense because i catch everything but i know in my heart i will be a better running back and they wont give me a chance and i finally got my first job but if i play football i wont make any money because of practice all the time and im not really motivated to play so i feel i dont even like the sport anymore but my coaches and everyone else say i am good enough to go d1 and if thats true i dont wanna just throw that opportunity away but i am seriously starting to hate football because it takes up my life and im not happy.
i feel you man im in the same boat as you, but only i play college ball in everyone tells me that i can go pro. but the only thing thats stopping mean is i hate school never really liked it. but hey from one man to another its your last year in high school and i know football takes up all your time but its your last year. you have your whole life to work after football season is you dont play basketball you can work then. i mean if you dream of playing in the NFL dont give that up. if your coaches tell you think you can go D-1 and play ball then you must be good dont give that put because you wanna work. if its running back that you wanna play thats what i play by the way talk to you coaches one on one and tell them how you feel. if you dont get into the school you want to go to then work if you dont feel like playin anymore trust me ifi can get through it you can just think about it. at the end of the day your the only one that can make up your mind anyways i just hope i help you out
